Could OpenID be supported some time in the future - e.g. by J!Extranet? I see the US government is trialling it so it may well become more widespread.
That would add extra security for clients who wanted it. For example I can use a physical Verisign security token with my OpenID. It would also take some of the burden of user administration off the back-end user - e.g. they would not have to reset OpenID passwords.
